Most aviation enthusiasts and insiders know that Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is predominantly Delta Air Lines territory.

The US carrier has a hub here and operates around 80% of the flights out of the airport.

After this, carriers like Southwest Airlines and Spirit Airlines also have a significant presence.

But other carriers do fly to Atlanta, and a growing number of international airlines also serve the airport.

Which International Airlines Fly to Atlanta?

The nearest carriers to the United States that can be seen regularly in Atlanta are Aeromexico Connect, serving various regional points in Mexico, along with Air Canada and its Express subsidiary, which serve Montreal and Toronto. Interestingly, Air Canada regularly sends its Airbus A220s to Atlanta.

Similarly, WestJet can also be found flying into Atlanta from Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnipeg.

From South and Central America, Copa Airlines and LATAM Peru link Atlanta with Panama City and Lima respectively.

Europe is relatively well served in Atlanta, with Air France (Paris CDG), British Airways (London Heathrow), KLM (Amsterdam Schiphol), Lufthansa (Frankfurt), Scandinavian Airlines (Copenhagen), Turkish Airlines (Istanbul) and Virgin Atlantic (London Heathrow) all flying in daily.

From Asia, only Korean Air links to Atlanta (from Seoul), and the Middle East is served by Qatar Airways from Doha. However, Etihad Airways recently announced they will begin non-stop Abu Dhabi to Atlanta flights in July 2025.

Finally, Ethiopian Airlines completes the list with its link to Addis Ababa using Airbus A350 equipment.

Of course, many of these links are related to the Skyteam Alliance, of which Delta Air Lines is a part, and essentially operate as extra connections for Delta passengers passing through the airport.
