JetBlue Airways first revealed its new livery in June 2023 when one of its Airbus A321 aircraft was rolled out in the updated scheme.
Now, a brand new Airbus A220 aircraft has been painted in the so-called ‘Hops’ livery for the first time, with some updates to how it looks.
The aircraft, N3214J, is an A220-300 which has just rolled out of the Airbus factory. It is set for delivery imminently, and to enter service on the airline’s network in December.

Updated Hops Livery
As with most JetBlue aircraft, the tail of the new aircraft is where differences lie in the livery. In fact, nearly every JetBlue aircraft wears a different tail livery.
This time, the version of the ‘Hops’ livery features bands of colours encircling the rear fuselage.
In JetBlue’s own words:
The new Hops is our first livery with violet accents—expect to spot more pops, (and hops) of purple as we grow our new blue fuel efficient A220 fleet.
This aircraft is to receive the name ‘Taming the Blue’, and is one to look out for in America’s skies over coming weeks.
