TAAG Angola Airlines has received its first Airbus A220 aircraft, and introduced its new livery at the same time.
The aircraft, to become D2-TAA, is the first of an order for 15 of the type secured through lessors Air Lease Corporation, Aviation Capital, Azorra, and NAC. It was handed over at a ceremony in Montreal, ahead of making the journey to southern Africa.
These aircraft feature 137 seats and will be used on the airline’s regional network out of Luanda, and are set to replace the airline’s Boeing 737-700 fleet.
