Prestwick viewing gallery re-opens

Glasgow Prestwick Airport has announced that its viewing gallery atop the terminal building has re-opened.

This gives a generally good view over the passenger aircraft apron, the runway, and the maintenance areas beyond. You won’t miss many movements here, although the north-south runway is a bit distant (though I’m not sure how often it’s used?)

The viewing gallery is open every day from 7am to 7pm and is free to enter.
