This month we have a big list of new airliners to spot in our skies.

From new aircraft type deliveries to special liveries, there’s plenty to see.

Here are the new airliners for July 2023:

 

Air Q 757-300

Air Q, or Skyline Express Airline, has taken on this former Condor Boeing 757-300, UR-SLB (ex-D-ABOF), which is still in a hybrid livery.

 

Air Tahiti Polynesian Art

Air Tahiti has taken delivery of this new ATR 72-600 featuring special Polynesian art by the Centre des Métiers d’Art, an art school in Papeete. The aircraft is F-ORVX.

 

Bulgaria Air A220

Bulgaria Air introduced its first Airbus A220 aircraft last month, LZ-ROM. It is now flying on schedules around Europe and the Middle East.

 

Etihad Mission Impossible

To promote the new Mission: Impossible movie, filmed partly in Abu Dhabi airport, Etihad Airways has painted Boeing 787-9 A6-BLO in this special promotional livery.

 

Express Cargo Airlines First 737-300 Freighter

Indonesia’s Express Cargo Airlines has taken its first Boeing 737-300 freighter, PK-ECA.

 

Gulf Air Retro A321neo

Another retro livery has been applied by Gulf Air to mark its 70th anniversary. New Airbus A321neo A9C-XA wears this special scheme.

Hawaiian Airlines First A330P2F

Amazon Prime Air(Hawaiian Airlines) A330-300P2F N4621K

With the start of its new contract flying for Amazon Air, Hawaiian Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330-300P2F (Passenger-to-Freighter conversion). It is N4621K.

 

Iraqi’s First 787

Iraqi Airways continues its modernisation progress. It has taken delivery of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner, YI-AYC.

 

JetBlue’s New Livery

As we reported last month, JetBlue is introducing a new livery across its fleet. The first aircraft to feature the bluer scheme is Airbus A321 N982JB.

 

LOT Special Livery

SP-LVK Boeing 737 MAX 8 LOT

LOT Polish Airlines has added this special livery to 737 MAX SP-LVK to commemorate the centennary of the glass industry in Krosno.

 

Luxair’s First MAX

Luxair has received its first Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The -8 model is LX-LBL.

 

South African Reintroduces A350

As it slowly grows following severe financial problems, South African Airways has once again introduced the Airbus A350 ready for long-haul expansion. The first example is OE-IPK, leased from Avolon.

 

Thai Incorporates Smile Aircraft

Thai Airways is merging the fleet of Thai Smile into its own mainline operation. The first Airbus A320s, HS-TXC, -TXQ, -TXR and -TXS, have now been taken on, with a slight hybrid livery.

 

Virgin Australia’s First MAX

The first Boeing 737 MAX 8 for Virgin Australia has been delivered. It wears the unusual registration VH-8IA.

 

Volaris Barbie Livery

Mexico’s Volaris has added this special promotional livery promoting Barbie to Airbus A320neo N528VL.

Hi Matt, just recently the AUS CAA have introduced the number 8 followed by two letters for new aircraft, somewhat bewildering to be honest. The new VIRGIN 737-8MAX s will be VH-8IA-8IZ and recently imported second hand Q400s and 737-800s, have also had this new rego sequence. Very strange indeed !
