Gulf Air is about to take delivery of a brand new Boeing 787-9.

This particular aircraft, registration A9C-FG, is wearing a special retro livery which harks back to the colours worn by the airline in the 1980s and 90s.

It is to celebrate Gulf Air’s 70th anniversary.

Always was a very nice livery, good to see it back; although not sure the ’70’ adds anything to it (although I acknowledge it’s the reason for it)

But it is not the original livery due the issues they have with Qatar. One of the stripes is a different colour so this is not a retro scheme.
