Eurowings Discover, the leisure spin-off airline of Eurowings and parent Lufthansa, is to be rebranded simply as Discover Airlines.
Today, the airline revealed its new branding, and the first aircraft to be painted in its new livery, at an event in Frankfurt.
Launched in 2021, following the pandemic, Eurowings Discover focussed on the long-haul and leisure services of the Eurowings brand, which itself is a low-cost and scheduled carrier.
The airline is based at Frankfurt and Munich, and has a fleet of Airbus A320ceo, Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft, with more aircraft expected to be transferred in from other airlines within the Lufthansa Group.

The present livery of Eurowings Discover is based on the standard Eurowings livery, with large blue ‘Discover’ titles.
However, the new scheme, which was unveiled today on Airbus A320 D-AIUR, sees a completely new scheme with shades of blue and yellow on the tail (reminiscent of Lufthansa’s livery), and a white fuselage with large ‘Discover’ titles along the forward part.
As well as the exterior, Discover Airlines’ cabins will also be upgraded to reflect the new branding.
The new livery will be rolled out across the fleet over the coming months.
