Emirates has launched a striking new livery for its flagship A380 aircraft, dedicated to promoting the vital humanitarian work of the Emirates Airline Foundation. This special livery not only celebrates the Foundation’s life-changing efforts but also invites the world to join in supporting vulnerable children across the globe.

A Design That Speaks Volumes

The newly unveiled livery features a design inspired by the playful and hopeful spirit of the Emirates Airline Foundation. The fuselage is adorned with whimsical pastel stars in shades of light green, warm orange, baby blue, and soft pink, each symbolizing the innocence and potential of the children the Foundation serves. The message “Help to support children in need” is prominently displayed, encapsulating the Foundation’s mission and inviting onlookers to take action.

The aircraft which features the design is A6-EEP.

Adding to the aircraft’s visual appeal, all four engine cowls are painted in a warm orange hue, a symbol of the brighter future that the Foundation aims to create for disadvantaged children worldwide. This thoughtful design is a visual testament to Emirates’ commitment to philanthropy, blending the airline’s iconic branding with a heartfelt call to action.

Taking the Message Worldwide

The first flight of this specially decorated A380 took off today, heading to Johannesburg, South Africa—a fitting destination, as the Emirates Airline Foundation actively supports two significant projects in the region. The Foundation partners with community-based organizations and NGOs to provide essential services such as safe housing, food, medical care, and education to children in need. Through these efforts, the Foundation aims to create sustainable and lasting change in the communities it serves, regardless of geography, background, or religion.

To date, the Foundation has supported over 50 projects in nine countries, including the Emirates-CHES Home in India, which provides care for HIV-positive children, and the Prithipura Communities in Sri Lanka, which supports children and young adults with disabilities. In Africa, the Foundation has made significant contributions to education and healthcare, funding everything from meal programs in Kenya to early childhood education initiatives in South Africa.
