If you’ve yet to fly on the baby Airbus A318, or want to catch another flight on it before it’s too late, we’ve put together this selection of routes which still feature the type.
Of the 80 Airbus A318s built, only two airlines still fly the type with fewer than ten active examples.
These airlines are Air France and TAROM, who are both actively reducing their fleets ahead of retirement. In fact, TAROM plans to have retired its last example in the next few months.
Other A318s that are still flying are used by VIP and private operators.
Airbus A318 Routes
- Bucharest Henri Coandă – London Heathrow (TAROM)
- Bucharest Henri Coandă – Cluj-Napoca (TAROM)
- Bucharest Henri Coandă – Amsterdam Schiphol (TAROM)
- Nice – London Heathrow (Air France)
- Paris Orly – Nice (Air France)
- Paris Orly – Marseille (Air France)
- Paris Orly – Toulouse (Air France)
- Paris Charles de Gaulle – Florence (Air France)
- Paris Charles de Gaulle – Toulouse (Air France)
This list is accurate as of February 2024.
As always, check with the airline before flying as schedules can change regularly, and airlines often substitute different types from their fleets onto routes at short notice.

Hi Matt, we had our only A318 flight in January 2017 on AVIANCA from Bogota to Havana, so very lucky to have had that experience. We do have VIP A318s from time to time in Perth still.
Have photographed AIR FRANCE and TAROM A318s at LHR and MAN a few years ago., as well as quite a few AVIANCA ones in BOG and HAV.
I was lucky enough to catch the BA1 A318 from LCY to JFK So a different experience of an A318
I just today saw an Air France A318 at PRG, but I don’t know if it’s a scheduled route or not.
