Greece’s Aegean Airlines is entering a new era with the introduction of a new livery and corporate branding, plus the first Airbus A320neo aircraft into its fleet.
The aircraft are SX-NEA, SX-NEB and SX-NEO.
Having already expanded the initial order with 12 additional aircraft, AEGEAN is expected to receive by 2025 a total of a minimum 46 aircraft, A320neo and A321neo, with an option for 12 additional aircraft (up to 58 aircraft).
The A320neo aircraft begin flying today, 14th February, from Athens to Munich, and will be incorporated into more of the airline’s schedules as more aircraft join the fleet.
Aegean’s new branding features a white fuselage with sweeping blues up the tail fin and new, bolder titling on the forward fuselage.
Currently Aegean Airlines also flies Airbus A319, A320 and A321 ceo models. These will be retained for the time being.
