Summary
Donald Trump has had a lot of dealings with aviation over the years, including his Trump Shuttle airline.
As President of the United States, he was often seen flying the US Air Force transports known as Air Force One and other aircraft.
One constant for the past 13 years has been his private Boeing 757 aircraft which is emblazoned with large TRUMP titles and is often seen ferrying him around on business engagements and election campaigns.
A History of Donald Trump’s 757 Aircraft
This Boeing 757, with registration N757AF, has serial number 25155/371 and was built in Seattle in early 1991.
Initially ordered by Denmark’s Sterling Airways, it spent just over two years flying passengers for the airline as OY-SHA until it went bankrupt in September 1993.
In late 1994 it spent 6 months flying for Mexican airlines TAESA as XA-SPG before passing through a few different owners, including Vulcan Northwest Inc who set about transforming it with a VIP interior. It gained the registration N115FS.
The aircraft became the personal transport of Paul Allen, one of the founders of Microsoft, in 1995, and was registered N757AF a year later.
Then, in 2011 DJT Operations I LLC purchased the aircraft for use by its owner Donal Trump. It replaced his older Boeing 727-100 aircraft which wore a similar livery.
During his period as President of the United States, N757AF was placed in storage and underwent overhaul, and has recently been back in service.
Inside the Aircraft
Commonly referred to as “Trump Force One”, the interior of this Boeing 757 is lavish. It has bedrooms, bathrooms, a shower, dining area, galley and guest areas.
It can accommodate up to 43 people.
Trump and Vance Campaign Jet
During his current campaign for re-election, Donald Trump and prospective Vice President Vance have leased a Boeing 737-800 aircraft which is owned an operated by Eastern Air Express.
The aircraft is N917XA, which has previously flown for Air Berlin, Orenair, Swift Air and Smartwings.
